This gym is designed to have the flexibility to support a wide range of sports and physical activities. The new facility will enable us to offer year round sports leagues, and expand our existing athletic programs, such as basketball and soccer while providing various physical activity classes inclding karate, roller-sakating, aerobic dance, yoga and pilates.
Our newly renovated pool will be fully accessible for those with limited mobility and equipped with a wide array of aquatic supplies and equipment. Other changes will include new flooring, lockers, benches with backs, vanities and private showers. Our programming will include classes in aquatic exercise to improve strength, balance and flexibility. We plan to prepare swimmers for competitive events and other recreational swim time that promotes relaxation, socialization and fun for consumers and family members.

Our Horticulture Center and Greenhouse will include comprehensive gardening equipment and facilities for planting and potting. Classes will be offered in the basics of gardening, with various types of gardens. Nothing reduces stress and anxiety and enhances one's sense of personal accomplishment more than gardening.

The Library and Computer Center will be designed to serve as a comprehensive resource for our whole community. The Educational Resource Library will feature computer workstations and a comprehensive, fully stocked library devoted to wellness and disability. It will include text books, scholarly journals, DVD's and popular magazines. Professional websites for families and professionals to enhance their knowledge and ability to navigate the often complex and confusing environment of disability services and treatment options will be offered.

The Arts and Craft Center will offer a unique and rewarding way for people with disabilities to find creative outlets for self-expression, improve fine motor skills, enhance self-esteem and exercise their imagination. Talented instructors will enable budding artists to work in a wide range of media, including paint, clay, textile and digital media - to creating candles, pottery, wreaths and drawings. Many of these hand made items will be offered for sale in the gift shop and holiday fairs.

Our individualized fitness program is for the purpose of enhancing wellness, build strength and cardiovascular endurance. Our new 1500 square foot modern and barrier free Fitness Center will be designed to enhance the quality of life for all On Your Mark participants regardless of tehir disability. Our program will include Life Fitness strength circuit machines, treadmills, recumbent bicycles, balance/stability boards and much more.
Vocal, piano, guitar, horn and percussion lessons will be available in a wide range of musical genres, including rock, pop, standards, doo-wop, jazz, classical, country, folk, rap, reggae, salsa and hip hop. Students will be encouraged to perform in concerts throughout the year held in our auditorium. Professional artists will also be invited to perform for our members, staff and community. Dance and karaoke will also be a regular part of life at the center.
The theatre will enable our skilled staff and gifted performers to showcase their talents for a wider audience, including friends, families and neighbors. Our 200-seat facility will include professional actors and musicians who will serve as teachers, choreographers, producers and directors, enabling people with disabilities to explore and expand their creativity on stage in acting workshops, plays and musical recitals, both small and large.
